Once Claude Code is connected to Trackian (see Connect Claude Code to Trackian), you can ask anything in plain language - "why did revenue drop last Tuesday?", "how is Google Ads doing this month?" - and get an answer from your live data.
For common, multi-step tasks there are also guided commands. You type the command (it starts with a /) and Trackian runs the whole workflow for you, then shows just the finished answer. Here's what each one does.
Getting set up
/start (also /setup)
First-run setup. Sets your language, your role, how much detail you want in answers, and which projects to watch - then remembers it. Run this once when you first connect.
/setup-project
Reviews and improves a single project's Trackian setup - its alerts, KPIs, custom metrics, and funnels. Every change is previewed first and needs your OK before anything is saved. Use it when you want to fine-tune what Trackian watches for a project.
Understanding what's happening
/investigate
Finds what changed in a project and explains why. This is the everyday "something looks off - what's going on?" command. Name a project or date, or let it find the most recent issue for you.
/deep-dive
Explains one specific incident end to end - a single project, date, and issue. Use it when you already know what you want explained and want the full story behind it.
/weekly-review
Your whole week in one summary - what moved, what mattered, and what to do next. A good Monday-morning catch-up.
/briefing
What happened across all your projects, in one place. Ideal if you manage several projects and want the headline view before drilling into any one of them.
Growing and reporting
/opportunities
Surfaces where you can grow - the places your data suggests there's upside to capture. Use it when things are stable and you're looking for the next win rather than fixing a problem.
/report
Generates a polished, branded report (HTML or PDF) from your Trackian data and saves it to your reports/ folder. Use it when you need something to share with a client, your team, or leadership.
Keeping things current
/update
Updates your Trackian setup folder to the latest version - new commands, improvements, and fixes. It never touches your own settings or custom files. Run it whenever Trackian tells you an update is available.
You don't have to use commands
Commands are shortcuts for common workflows. You can always just ask a question in your own words:
- "Which channel lost the most traffic last week?"
- "Is my Facebook spend paying off this month?"
- "What should I focus on today?"
Trackian answers from your real data either way.
